Questions, answered

The things buyers ask most about ReadiStaff — what it is, how it works, and how it keeps your agency workforce compliant.

The basics

What is ReadiStaff?

ReadiStaff is a shift-broadcast platform (a vendor management system, or VMS) that helps organisations fill shifts through their external staffing agencies. You post an unfilled shift; ReadiStaff broadcasts it to your preferred agencies in priority tiers; agencies assign workers; and each worker's compliance is verified before the shift. It replaces slow, manual, email-and-spreadsheet agency-shift filling.

How is ReadiStaff different from rostering or workforce-management software?

Rostering and workforce-management tools schedule a facility's own employed staff. ReadiStaff does something different: it connects you with your external staffing agencies to fill the shifts your internal roster can't cover. It's an agency-to-facility shift marketplace, not an internal rostering tool — so it complements your roster rather than replacing it.

Which industries is ReadiStaff for?

Any organisation that fills shifts through external agencies and has compliance requirements — aged care (our lead market), hospitals, disability and NDIS providers, and hospitality. The platform is industry-agnostic; aged care is simply where it's most developed today.

How it works

How does tier broadcasting work?

You group your agencies into priority tiers. When you broadcast a shift, your Tier 1 (preferred) agencies get exclusive first access for a window you set. If the shift isn't taken, ReadiStaff automatically escalates it to Tier 2, then Tier 3. This rewards your best agencies with first access and fills shifts fast — without blasting every shift to everyone at once.

How fast can shifts fill?

Shifts can fill in minutes rather than hours. Because a broadcast reaches your preferred agencies instantly and tracks responses live, agencies can accept and assign a worker straight away — while the old phone-and-email approach is still on its first round of calls. Actual speed depends on your agencies and how you set your tier windows.

How do agencies get onboarded?

Your agencies are invited to ReadiStaff and respond to broadcasts from their own dashboard. There's no complex setup on their side — they see the shifts you broadcast to their tier, accept or decline, and assign workers. We help you bring your preferred agencies on board as part of getting started.

Compliance & security

How does compliance management work?

Workers' compliance documents — registrations, screenings, police checks, vaccinations — are uploaded once and travel with the worker across every site. ReadiStaff tracks expiry dates, sends reminders before anything lapses, and checks each worker against your requirements at the point of assignment, so you know they're cleared before they start.

Is ReadiStaff secure?

Yes. ReadiStaff is built as a standalone, access-controlled platform with role-based permissions, so each organisation and agency only sees what it should. Compliance and worker data are handled in line with Australian privacy obligations. For specific security and data-handling details, request a demo and we'll walk you through it.

Pricing & agencies

How much does ReadiStaff cost?

Pricing is tailored to your organisation — the number of sites, your shift volume and how you work. ReadiStaff is positioned at a fraction of the cost of legacy systems, with no long contracts. Request a demo for pricing matched to your situation.

Do agencies pay to use ReadiStaff?

ReadiStaff is bought by the organisation that needs shifts filled — the buyer/operator. Your preferred agencies participate so they can receive and respond to your broadcasts. Request a demo and we'll explain exactly how it works for your agency relationships.
